About the role

The Quality Manager will lead a Quality team providing expert advice and operational support on Quality and Regulatory requirements while coordinating aspects of the Quality Management System supporting the Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a Quality team
  • Providing expert advice and operational support on Quality and Regulatory requirements
  • Cooking support for the Manufacturing environment
  • Coordinating aspects of the Quality Management System
  • Communication across all levels of the organization is key to success in this role

Requirements

  • Significant experience of the operation of an effective Quality Management System in a Blood Establishment or pharmaceutical environment
  • Educated to at least Honours Degree level holding a post graduate professional qualification e.g. MSc
  • Demonstrable experience of risk management, change management, Incident management, Corrective and Preventative Action planning, root cause analysis and Quality auditing

Qualifications

  • Quality Assurance (QA) professional experience
  • Postgraduate professional qualification in a related field

Skills

  • Hands-on approach
  • Broad area of Quality responsibility
  • Oversight of blood component manufacture, donation testing, QC laboratory, logistics, information systems and facility

Schedule

The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, with some hybrid working acceptable according to business needs.
