Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

Own the quality system for a defense and aerospace manufacturer, and lead the team that keeps every product built to spec. You'll be the top quality authority for the company, owning certification, audits, and continuous improvement. You'll report results directly to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• AS9100 and ISO 9001 registrar and internal audits
• Root cause and corrective action
• Quality data, trends, and action plans
• New product introduction and qualification
• Nonconformance, complaints, and returns
• Quality team hiring and development

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality management in manufacturing
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Hands-on management of a certified quality system
• AS9100 and ISO 9001 knowledge
• Root cause, CAPA, and SPC experience
• Engineering drawing and specification reading

Skills

• AS9100 or ISO lead auditor (nice to have)
• ASQ CQM, CQE, or CQA (nice to have)
• Technical bachelor's degree (nice to have)
• AS9102 FAI and DCMA experience (nice to have)
