About the role
Our client in food and beverage manufacturing is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. In this role, you will take ownership of the company’s food safety and quality systems, including SQF/GFSI compliance, audits, CAPAs, certifications, and customer requirements. You will work closely with operations, R&D, procurement, sales, and logistics to help bring new and private-label products to market while meeting customer, food-safety, and regulatory requirements.
This is a great opportunity to own an established quality program while having a direct impact on new products, customer growth, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain SQF/GFSI food safety and quality systems
- Lead internal, third-party, customer, and certification audits
- Maintain HACCP plans, quality records, and compliance documentation
- Manage CAPAs, root-cause investigations, holds, and nonconformances
- Maintain Organic, Gluten-Free, non-GMO, Halal, and other programs
- Review FDA labeling and support supplier and packaging compliance
- Monitor FSVP, import, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Train employees on quality, food safety, GMP, and compliance protocols
- Partner with operations, procurement, logistics, sales, and R&D
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- 4+ years of quality experience in food, beverage or ingredient manufacturing required
- 2+ years of owning and maintaining a GFSI food-safety and quality system required
- Experience leading internal, third-party, customer, and/or certification audits required
- Experience with HACCP programs, CAPA, and FDA/FSMA compliance required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality, document-control, and/or ERP systems required

$80,000 - $100,000
