Quality Manager

About the role

This position will lead and execute the end-to-end quality control and assurance functions that ensure products conform to engineering specifications and meet customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality procedures
• Build a strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
• Ensure product conformance to engineering and customer specifications
• Complete customer quality surveys and on-site quality audits
• Create control plans for raw materials, manufactured components, and finished assemblies
• Create or review corrective action reports in line with 8-D guidelines for non-conforming products
• Support sales engineering by working closely with customers, Sales Engineers, and the Sales Department
• Support Procurement by identifying alternative sources, materials, and components
• Aid Logistics with import documentation
• Manage and maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, quality management, or manufacturing
• 5+ years of quality control/assurance experience
• Experience in managing ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems
• Experience in managing RoHS and REACH certifications (a plus)

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
