About the role
This position will lead and execute the end-to-end quality control and assurance functions that ensure products conform to engineering specifications and meet customer quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality procedures
- Build a strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
- Ensure product conformance to engineering and customer specifications
- Complete customer quality surveys and on-site quality audits
- Create control plans for raw materials, manufactured components, and finished assemblies
- Create or review corrective action reports in line with 8-D guidelines for non-conforming products
- Support sales engineering by working closely with customers, Sales Engineers, and the Sales Department
- Support Procurement by identifying alternative sources, materials, and components
- Aid Logistics with import documentation
- Manage and maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, quality management, or manufacturing
- 5+ years of quality control/assurance experience
- Experience in managing ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems
- Experience in managing RoHS and REACH certifications (a plus)
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
