Quality Manager
About the role
The Quality Manager is a key member of the project team responsible for ensuring high-quality construction practices. This role supports senior Field and Project Managers in managing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with project standards.
Responsibilities
- Supports senior Field and Project Managers in coordinating and tracking project needs such as RFIs, submittals, document control, and inspections.
- Performs routine daily activities including material identification, field inspections, and reporting on construction quality.
- Conducts Quality-related meetings with internal staff and trade partners to discuss progress and address issues.
- Manages and oversees the implementation of quality assurance measures to ensure project compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
- Works proactively to identify and mitigate potential risks and errors in the construction process.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience working within a project team contributing to coordination, development, and/or tracking of various project needs.
- 5+ Years of experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
- 5+ Years of experience in the construction of Commercial building projects with a general contractor/trade contractor/construction management/inspections firm.
- 2+ years practical experience performing inspections for a general contractor, trade contractor, design firm, jurisdictional body, or inspections firm.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or 8 years equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience.

- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
