Quality Manager

About the role

As Quality Manager you will communicate the Quality Mind-set, policies, procedures, specifications, government and industry standards to ensure the product and manufacturing processes align with those requirements. You will monitor and report on internal processes, examine products to determine their quality, engage with customers, and gather product feedback.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work environments are safe, organized, and meet legal obligations.
• Review customer product specifications, procedures, and warranty contracts to ensure compliance.
• Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements for first-time quality product.
• Oversee inspections of products and provide training to team members requiring guidance.
• Support new product launches and advance development projects to identify opportunities for improvement and deviations from current quality standards.
• Compile feedback from customers and prepare reports communicating customer satisfaction.
• Promote environmental and social awareness, considering opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and supporting community activities/events.
• Ensure training and support growth in team members’ career paths.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Direct experience in a similar role and industry.
• Experience with quality systems (ISO-9001).
• Strong team leadership and supervisory experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality inspections.
