About the role
As our Quality Manager, you will manage and continuously improve regional quality performance in line with unit targets. You will ensure alignment and execution of the full-chain quality strategy at the regional level, supporting branches and districts in problem-solving to eliminate the Cost of Poor Quality across sales, ordering, delivery, installation, handover, and service. This role involves driving Quality Continuous Improvement Teams, implementing quality strategies, conducting site visits for compliance, and participating in key meetings.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve regional quality performance to meet unit targets.
- Align and execute the full-chain quality strategy at the regional level.
- Support branches and districts in problem-solving to eliminate Cost of Poor Quality.
- Drive Quality Continuous Improvement Teams and implement quality strategies.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with systems and procedures.
- Participate in key meetings (e.g., Monthly District Management Meetings, Branch PM Review, Traction Control).
- Lead and influence without authority in a cross-functional and matrix team environment.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Present information and respond to questions from groups, including senior management.
- Evaluate business performance and identify initiatives to drive improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or a relevant area.
- Technical or Business degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality.
- Analytical skills with experience in operational processes for continuous improvement using Six Sigma or other proven quality tools.
- Proven project management and leadership in complex situations.
- Ability to work in cross-functional/matrix teams.
- Flexibility to travel 60% of the time for site visits, branch visits, and key meetings.

Pay
Annual Base Pay Range for this role:
- Lisle, IL: $135,500 – $177,870
- Chicago: $135,500 – $177,870
- Boston; New York: $145,700 – $191,205
- Charlotte: $126,600 – $166,215
- Nashville; Orlando: $120,300 – $157,920
Variable compensation includes a KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company and individual goals.
