Quality Manager
About the role
The Quality Manager position at KONE Americas is seeking a driven professional with 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or related fields. This role involves managing and continuously improving regional quality performance, aligning and executing full-chain quality strategies, and leading teams in problem-solving to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve regional quality performance in line with unit targets
- Ensure alignment and execution of full-chain quality strategy on region level
- Support branches and districts in problem-solving to eliminate Cost of Poor Quality across various stages of the process
- Bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in sourcing, supply chain management or relevant area to KONE
- Use knowledge gained through a Technical or Business degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university
Requirements
- Proven project management
- Leadership and proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and international environments
- At least 3-5 years progressive experience in quality
- Analytical skills with experience applying Six Sigma or other quality tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated success managing teams even in complex situations
- Flexibility to travel (60% of time) for site visits, branch visits, and key meetings
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including senior management
- Ability to evaluate business performance and identify initiatives to drive improvement
Qualifications

- Proven experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or related areas
- Experience in Six Sigma or other quality tools and methodologies

Pay
The annual base pay range for this role in Lisle, IL is $135,500 – $177,870. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Schedule
The role requires a combination of remote work and travel, with approximately 60% of time spent traveling for site visits, branch visits, and key meetings.
