Responsibilities
- Provide Quality Management support.
- Direct and develop all personnel in execution of quality policies and procedures.
- Lead, direct, and mentor Quality Group.
- Provide product and process support to internal and external functions.
- Responsible for Quality KPIs.
- Manage activities of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Launch APQP, Test Lab, Customer Care and Warranty staff.
- Direct quality systems development and maintenance.
- Primary corrective and preventative action facilitator.
- Provide internal and external Quality support through all phases of product development and manufacturing.
- Interface with all departments to ensure quality is maintained.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Support and direct in the resolution of internal and external product and process quality and engineering concerns.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with a strong background in Quality.
- 2+ years successfully managing employees.
- Previous Quality Engineering / Management experience required, preferably in an automotive environment.
- Associates degree with Professional Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
- Thorough knowledge of Quality systems and procedures.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ISO and IATF automotive requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of APQP and Customer PPAP requirements.
- Ability to lead and direct Quality initiatives.
Pay
This is a Direct-Hire Position paying between $140,000-$160,000 depending on the level of experience.
