Quality Management Systems Manager
Tektronix Component Solutions is seeking a Quality Management Systems Manager to lead the QMS function, working cross-functionally with the Quality organization and reporting to the Director of Quality & Reliability. This role supports top-level priorities, policy deployment, and broad-based leadership as an extended member of the Management Team.
Responsibilities

Specific Functional Responsibilities
- Lead a team of QMS professionals supporting customers, operations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Own and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant standards.
- Lead internal and external audit activities, including planning, execution, corrective actions, and process improvement.
- Manage document control, records management, and quality system governance for consistency and compliance.
- Drive Management Review processes, quality metrics reporting, and performance monitoring aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, root-cause investigations, and systemic problem-solving.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality to deploy quality standards across the product lifecycle.
- Coach and mentor teams on quality system requirements, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate quality planning activities, including process mapping, risk assessments, and quality performance indicators.
- Support customer and regulatory audits, compliance matrices, corrective action requests, and change management.
- Support DLA certification efforts through cross-functional readiness activities and compliance coordination.
- Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement of QMS processes through automation and data analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Broad experience across Global Manufacturing and Quality, including QMS, manufacturing, process engineering, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable QMS standards and auditing practices.
- Ability to articulate a vision for organizational excellence and lead transformative QMS initiatives.
- Experience leading quality system audits, management reviews, corrective action programs, and compliance initiatives.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving systemic problem-solving.
- Strong leadership skills in motivation, coaching, employee development, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and change management skills for organizational alignment.
- Proactive working style with adaptability to changing business and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or Excel).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive Quality Management System leadership experience (desired).
- Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent (desired).
- Experience managing external certification, regulatory, or customer audit programs (desired).
- ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (desired).
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide QMS improvements and digital quality transformation (desired).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $104,300–$193,700 (local currency).
This role is subject to ITAR. Candidates must be U.S. Persons (citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals) or prepared to secure necessary U.S. government export authorizations. Ongoing employment depends on obtaining these authorizations.
