Minimum Qualifications
- Independent Clinical License; i.e. LCSW, LPC, LMFT etc.
- Minimum 2+ years direct care experience in behavioral health, IDD services, healthcare, quality management, compliance, client rights, case management, or a related human services setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health services, client rights, healthcare terminology, documentation standards, and regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting medical/chart reviews, audits, compliance monitoring, or other quality assurance activities.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems and reviewing clinical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS.
- Must meet organizational standards regarding performance, conduct and quality of care.
- Must have valid Texas drivers license and maintain approved drivers status throughout employment.
- Able to travel routinely between agency service locations to conduct on-site observations, provide staff support and technical assistance, and monitor implementation of corrective actions and quality improvement activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Texas Bureau of Vital Statistics.
- Experience with reading and understanding autopsy and toxicology reports.
- Experience with Client Rights and reporting requirement for right violations, neglect, and abuse.
- Experience conducting clinical audits.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated knowledge of community health programs, including, but not limited to, behavioral health, SUD, IDD, ECI, Crisis Programs and related programs.
