Your responsibilities
- Track and record parts for inspection
- Perform necessary inspection of parts such as checks of pin and main spacing, diameter, throw and index, straightness, taper, true position, lateral locations, bolt hole, and etch
- Affirm accuracy of CMM and Adcole machines; make necessary programming adjustments
- Approve parts that pass inspection; communicate with team leaders regarding bad parts and retest new samples
Your profile
- Educational/Credentials/Certifications/Length of Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. A combination of over two years of directly related education, training, and/or experience is desired for this position. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in crankshaft industry is a plus.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to learn tasks and skills required in the gauge lab. Previous manufacturing experience. Experience with troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and conversion charts. Ability to use measurement tools. Knowledge of GD & T symbols. Basic mathematical ability: understanding of trigonometry is helpful. Ability to follow step by step procedures. Excellent interpersonal abilities.
