Sample Room Technician

Essential Duties And Accountabilities

• Performs material cutting using hand industrial size scissors and Hand Cutting Machines to accurately cut various markers, unique samples and various re-sizing repairs.
• Operates Laser Cutter machine
• Read and Understand the trims sheets
• Operates the Hot knife machine to Cuts trims by their SCI code
• Be able to understand the SCI code and replenish sample room’s inventory accordingly
• Affords assistance to sewers by operating the grommets, button holes, bar tacking machines, etc.
• Affords assistance with master samples management
• Affords assistance with assembly and packaging
• Be able to print UPS labels to ship final products
• Maintains a safe and clean work area
• Monitors projects in Manager’s absence
• Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards
• Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.
