About the role
Join our team as a Quality Lab Technologist and play an important role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of feed ingredients. You’ll work with advanced NIR instrumentation, support laboratory testing programs, and have the opportunity to develop specialized technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses using NIR (Near Infrared) instrumentation
- Organize, test, and communicate results for hundreds of feed ingredient samples weekly
- Manage activities associated with the Oilmeal Program
- Support Feed Ingredient NIR Programs and internal laboratory customers
- Ensure testing is completed efficiently and accurately
- Develop knowledge of NIR technology, instrumentation, and calibration
- Build basic NIR calibration models as your expertise grows
- Provide technical support to NIR users and internal partners
- Communicate results clearly and meet established deadlines

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related technical field plus 3+ years of relevant experience in animal feed, feed ingredients, agriculture, food, or a related industry
- OR Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
- 1+ year of NIR experience
- Experience in animal feed, feed ingredients, agriculture, food science, or a related industry
- Basic knowledge of NIR instrumentation and applications
- Laboratory testing, data analysis, or quality experience

$24–$27/hour based on experience
Schedule
Monday–Friday
