Quality Lab Technician -

About the role

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp., headquartered in Plymouth, MI, operates more than 20 facilities and employs about 4,700 people across the Americas. The Findlay, OH location offers an on‑site General Partnership position with an hourly rate of $22‑23 for a Quality Lab Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment.
• Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully.
• Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly.
• Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement.
• Develop PPAP data and related forms.
• Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering.
• Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices.
• Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Perform basic statistical analysis.
• MS office proficiency including use of Minitab.
• Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.
