Quality Lab Technician
About the role
Join one of the largest cotton seed operations in the world as a Quality Lab Technician. In this role, you’ll help ensure high-quality seed production by performing lab tests and inspections that support farmers across the U.S. and Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual quality inspections on seed samples
- Conduct lab testing (pH, moisture, protein assays, titrations)
- Complete germination testing (warm & cool)
- Analyze seed purity and perform accurate seed counts
- Collect and organize product samples
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Natural Science, Chemistry, Biology or Science related field is a plus
- Experience in quality inspection, lab work, or agriculture preferred
- Experience with seed testing, farm work, or manufacturing QC
- Basic knowledge of biology, chemistry, or QC processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must provide Passport or Birth Certificate for onboarding
Schedule & Environment
Standard: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Peak season (Nov–Jan): Day & night shifts available, up to 50 hrs/week. Feb–May: Weekend availability may be required. Fast-paced lab and production environment.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
