About the role
Perform final visual and physical inspections on finished goods to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished product for defects or imperfections in aesthetics and function and to ensure tolerances and product specifications are met
- Ensure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations
- Utilize the ProductionWare (Matrix) system and ensure that all pertinent product information is documented and recorded onto the Device History Record (DHR)
- Use a team-oriented approach and communicate concerns and issues to management
- Follow Work Instructions and perform duties assigned with minimal supervision
- Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
- Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
- Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
- Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
- Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

Requirements
- Must be a friendly team player, detail-oriented, and honest

- Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, policies, and procedures
- Identify and record facts
- Stand/Walk/Bend throughout the workday
- Lift/Push/Pull 40 lbs.
- Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
- A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
- Basic computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role with specific quality guidelines/standards
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation
- High School Diploma or GED
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification
Pay
Hourly Wage: $17.75
