Quality Inspector III - 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:30PM-2:00AM)

About the role

As an inspector, you will support Quality directly on the manufacturing floor, performing in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout their manufacturing processes to ensure the product is free of defects.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate circuit card assemblies, solder joints, adhesive applications, and hardware builds via visual inspection and use of microscopes, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Review process and part documentation for accuracy and compliance to requirements.
• Support process auditing and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Process Engineering in a manufacturing team environment.
• Work in various factory areas, inclusive of cleanrooms requiring gowning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience directly related to quality inspection or quality control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with various technical documents (specifications, drawings, process sheets, etc.).
• High proficiency with electronically documenting data/findings and using databases.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Must be able to obtain a secret level security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with electronics manufacturing in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Existing IPC-A-610 certification.
• Secret level security clearance (preferred).

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $57319 - $91710
