Quality Inspector III - 2nd Shift
About the role
This is a 2nd Shift Position, Mon-Thurs, 2:00 PM-12:30 AM. As a Quality Inspector, you will support Quality directly on the manufacturing floor, performing in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout their manufacturing processes to ensure the product is free of defects.
Responsibilities
- Support Quality directly on the manufacturing floor, performing in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout their manufacturing processes to ensure the product is free of defects.
- All aspects of the product are evaluated, including circuit card assemblies, solder joints, adhesive applications, and hardware builds through visual inspection and the use of microscopes, gauges, and other inspection tools as required.
- The process and part documentation are also reviewed in detail to ensure accuracy and compliance to requirements.
- Other Quality functions such as process auditing and continuous improvement activities are also supported.
- The role is in a manufacturing team environment in collaboration with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Process Engineering.
- Work is performed in various factory areas, inclusive of cleanrooms requiring gowning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience directly related to quality inspection or quality control
- Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance security
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various technical documents (specifications, drawings, process sheets, etc.)
- High proficiency with electronically documenting data/findings and using databases
- Experience using a microscope
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance security
- Knowledge of and experience with electronics manufacturing in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
- Existing IPC-A-610 Certification
Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $57,319 - $91,710
