Quality Inspector I

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of electronic components, assemblies, and systems according to established procedures, blueprints, and specifications.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and gauges, to verify product conformity.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in appropriate systems and logs.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes as required.
• Absorb and contribute to root cause analysis of quality issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality discrepancies.
• Perform basic data entry and maintain inspection records.
• Adhere to all company quality policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A technical certification or an associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment is required.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications is necessary.
• Proficiency in using basic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, rulers) is essential.
• A strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects are required.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, are needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
• The physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is necessary.
