Quality Inspector

Description Summary

Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished goods to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customers and company operating procedures. Candidates must have a basic understanding of manufacturing and quality processes (Internal Procedures, ISO 9001, etc.). Must be able to use precision equipment like Micrometers, Calipers, Fixtures, Thread Gages, and basic blueprint reading & specifications/technical data.

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Elementary level shop math
• Maintains inspection reports/logs as required
• Maintains and promotes a clean, FOD-free, and organized work area
• Safety-minded and adheres to all company policies and practices safe work habits
• Approaches others in a tactful and respectful manner

Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least one year of previous manufacturing/technical experience
