Technical Skills
- Proficient in using precision measurement instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, helichecks, optical microscopes).
- Experience with 2D and 3D inspection equipment and software (e.g., CMM, walter helichecks, zolller vision systems).
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of cutting tool geometries, materials, coatings, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Quality Assurance Knowledge
- Understanding of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Capable of performing final inspections and documenting results accurately.
- Able to identify non-conformances and communicate findings clearly.
- Experience with inspection reports, lot traceability, and non-conformance documentation.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously improve processes.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling small precision components.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment with occasional exposure to dust, oils, and noise.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certification in machining or quality inspection is a plus.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tool inspection or precision manufacturing, preferably in a cutting tool environment.
