Quality Inspector
Job Summary
Performs dimensional and visual inspection of tooling orders and production material received from manufacturing operations. Conducts inspections utilizing precision measurement equipment, blueprint interpretation, and inspection systems to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Supports production flow by prioritizing inspection workload in a high-volume manufacturing environment with changing operational demands. Independently evaluates product acceptability, documents inspection results, and communicates quality concerns to production, engineering, and supervision.

What You Will Be Doing
- Performs dimensional and visual inspection of tooling orders, production strips, and manufactured components using approved inspection methods and equipment.
- Interprets engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions to verify product conformance.
- Utilizes inspection equipment including microscopes, Keyence vision systems, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, and CMM systems to evaluate product quality.
- Apply approval, rejection, or containment decisions based on inspection data and specification requirements.
- Prioritizes inspection workload to support production throughput, customer requirements, and operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Documents inspection results and maintain required quality records within applicable systems and documentation requirements.
- Communicates inspection concerns, nonconformances, and process issues with production, engineering, and supervision.
- Assists in troubleshooting inspection issues, measurement discrepancies, and product concerns as needed.
What You Will Bring Along
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing, machining, tooling, inspection, or quality-related experience preferred.
- Previous experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with GD&T concepts is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical inspection processes required.
- 2–4 years of related manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing, machining, tooling, inspection, or quality-related experience preferred.
