Quality Inspector

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Counsults with Quality Engineers to understand product specifications.
• Conducts visual and measurement tests of products.
• Performs inspection of incoming, in-process and outgoing products.
• Performs final inspection of completed cables.
• Reviews product specifications to ensure finished cables are compliant to standard.
• Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager.
• Sets and implements Corrective Actions to correct product/process failures.
• Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or work experience.
• One year cable assembly experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to use gauges, calipers, rulers.
• Basic math skills, including ability to do calculations and convert fractions.
• Ability to use microscope.
• Reads, writes/ speaks English.
• Demonstrates keen attention to quality and details.
