Quality Inspector

About the Role

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Our vehicles are used in diverse environments including golf courses, factories, airports, planned communities, theme parks, and hunting preserves.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete all assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives, and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year technical or industry-related degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience required.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Schedule

Full-time, first shift, onsite role.
