Quality Inspector

Description

The QA Inspector role at Smurfit Westrock is crucial for ensuring that finished products meet defined quality standards before release to finished goods. This position involves executing sampling plans, performing inspections, and validating form, fit, and function requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and resolve quality issues through established escalation and problem-solving protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to inspection and documentation.
• Working knowledge of statistical process control concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and comprehension.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and data entry skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and the ability to navigate defined quality processes and procedures.

Qualifications

A college degree is preferred, but not required. Relevant work experience in a similar role is highly valued. Must have a strong understanding of quality standards and be able to apply them consistently across various products and customers.
