About the Role

QinetiQ US is seeking a Quality Inspector to support production at our Franklin, MA facility. The selected candidate will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections with a focus on machined and assembled mechanical components.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently as a self-starter.
  • Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings, and acceptance tests.
  • Capture inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and Deltek.
  • Apply knowledge of test and inspection methodology.
  • Utilize standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height stands.
  • Support QMS, AS9100D, and CMMI processes.
  • Adhere to detailed Quality Plans for assigned programs.
  • Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated.
  • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office, and configuration management.
  • Apply problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Use trigonometry/geometry math skills and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Experience working on DOD electromechanical products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong technical communication and team-building skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment.
  • Recent experience operating under CMMI.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this role is $30.00 - $34.00 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
