Essential Functions
- Perform daily process audits.
- Carry out quality inspections of valves.
- Track devices for calibration.
- Maintain training records for production cell areas.
- Have working knowledge of the NYAB IPM and Section J - AAR M1003.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager and shop floor to manage accurate and updated documents and assist with Document Control Log.
- Stay alert to shop floor activities, reporting any questionable practices or activities to personnel, supervisors, and management.
- Aid in ensuring adherence to all written work processes.
- Maintain a quality-focused approach on all related issues.
- Support all quality initiatives.
- Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Comply with all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Support relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Skills And Competencies
- Demonstrate proactive and creative thinking.
- Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
- Working knowledge of requirements for calibration, training records, and document control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic failure analysis for quality issues and test equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Read technical drawings and interpret them with little support.
- Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good time management.
Work Environment
- The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, including noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt, etc.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Required Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of related experience.
