Quality Inspector

About the Role

Elliot Industries, Inc (a MacLean Power Systems Company) is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist in task and duties related to quality control processes and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. This role is Onsite in Bossier City, LA.

Responsibilities

• Test products and services, analyze results and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure products and services meet specifications
• Use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
• Manage, maintain, rebuild and repair gaging equipment per the standards as need
• Run and monitor inspection equipment (gages, etc.) to record and analyze quality data
• Purchase gaging supplies and equipment's needed
• Understand and ensure regulatory compliance
• Recommend modifications to standards, methods and procedures
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g. maintain cleanliness or work area, etc.)
• Follow All safety, Environment and Quality policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refer to more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Attention to detail / detail oriented
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
• Ability to navigate digital equipment
• Perform work under general supervision

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00
