Quality Inspector

Starting hourly rate: $20.18 plus (based on experience).

Responsibilities

• Perform water testing inspections of all products to assure products meet established specifications prior to shipment.
• Perform final inspections of all products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
• Reconcile final inspection and water testing documentation for shipments.
• Interact with department leadership, production, and other inspectors as needed.
• Daily communication with leaders and operators on potential defects.
• Conduct process audits throughout production to ensure processes are followed according to established work instructions and quality standards.
• Test incoming/outgoing materials.
• Send non-conforming product back to production for correction before allowing it to be shipped or used in production.
• Help pack products into shipping containers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results.
• Work with Quality Leaders and production team to develop more efficient processes and higher quality standards.
• Assist with containment, sorting, and verification activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education.
• 6 months or more of attention-to-detail oriented work.

Preferred:

• Manufacturing/industry experience.
• Quality inspection experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time hourly position. Hours and days are decided by production and your reporting Manager. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible overtime opportunities.
