About the role
Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The primary responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to inspect machined parts and assemblies, ensuring all quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing blueprints
- Perform inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications through visual checks and measurement testing
- Conduct in-process inspections of machined components, sheet metal parts, and welded assemblies to verify conformance to drawings and process requirements
- Approve or reject finished goods based on specification compliance; coordinate and verify rework where applicable
- Document all inspection results in compliance with internal procedures, input quality data into designated systems in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain and calibrate quality and measurement equipment to ensure reliable operation
- Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by completing assignments that align with department and business unit goals
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
Requirements
- ASQ Quality Inspection and ISO 9001 certifications
- Thorough knowledge of and ability to use the metric system and geometric tolerancing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
