About the role
The Quality Inspector ensures circuit cards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical components are manufactured correctly and functioning properly.
Responsibilities
- Inspect circuit cards, electronic, and electro-mechanical components per drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
- Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
- Utilize ERP system.
- Maintain organized work area.
- Perform other various types of inspection as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized or trades training desirable.
- Minimum 3 years' experience inspecting electronic parts, assemblies, and circuit boards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, written work instructions, and drawings.
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Capable of performing inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
- Experience in cleanroom, ESD, and FOD controlled areas.
- Excellent vision, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and sit/stand for extended periods.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronics assembly experience.
- 5+ years' experience inspecting electronic parts, assemblies, and circuit boards.
- IPC 610/620/J-STD Certification.
Pay
Salary range for this role in New Jersey is $23.00 - $40.00 hourly. Final offer may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal consistency.
