We are seeking a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of materials, components, and products.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test materials and components according to established procedures and specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Identify, report, and quarantine non-conforming materials.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding quality issues and discrepancies.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related defects.
- Aid in the development and improvement of inspection procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is preferred.
- Experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) is required.
- A basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is necessary.
- A strong attention to detail and good documentation skills are essential.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are important.
