Quality Inspector
Job Overview
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for daily tasks associated primarily with inspecting quality products. This includes primarily the inspection and testing of electrical work, incoming and outgoing inspections, process checks, and adhering to PCX’s company safety and quality policies. Secondary functions shall include, but not limited to, quality documentation, assisting with engineering activities, quality event activities, and involvement with the safety team.
A Day In The Life
- Document control activities / maintain check sheets and ensure compliance with quality, code, and safety requirements.
- Photo document receiving inspections / equipment, components, and other material.
- Inspection, testing and validation of equipment and raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to ensure adherence to PCX’s ISO9001:2015 Quality system and customer specifications including the use of test equipment, gauges, and other measurement devices.
- Reviews protocol, qualification, validation procedures as well as other PCX related requirements documented by the organization and follow those procedures.
- If a manufactured product fails to meet quality specifications, the QA inspector investigates and reports the non-conformance.
- Work with the team to implement Quality Assurance processes, including but not limited to, inspection check lists, photo documentation, and other quality job functions.
- Work with team members to resolve corrective actions and to identify continuous improvement opportunities utilizing various techniques.
- Work with other departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and that material and equipment are in place for job assignments and projects.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Able to climb, crawl, reach and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.

- Ability to interpret industrial safety standards.
- Ability to use test equipment, computers and MS software i.e. MS Word, Excel.
- Must be willing to work in various work environments, schedules, and overtime.
- Adequate visual acuity with or without the use of corrective lenses.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, specifications, and the NEC.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess work accuracy and good organizational skills.

Qualifications
