About the Role
This position performs various quality control inspections, checks, and tests of products during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company standards at different stages of production.
Responsibilities
- Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds
- Compares product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly
- Verifies specified dimensions of product or material
- Rejects defective parts and marks type of defect on part, container of parts, or inspection tag
- Performs functional tests to verify final assembly conformity to product specifications
- Conducts basic visual inspection and measurements using hand tools, gage blocks, and height gauge
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience measuring parts with hand tools, gage blocks, and height gauge
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications
ITAR/EAR Compliance: This position requires access to export-controlled information and/or hardware, and candidates must be U.S. Persons that comply with all U.S. Export control laws and regulation. As such, U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or the ability to meet ITAR and EAR requirements is required.
Depending on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I), intermediate (II), or expert (III) level job and pay scale.
