Quality Inspector
About the role
Join our team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Quality Inspector and play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will perform inspections using various tools and instruments to demonstrate compliance with specifications. Your attention to detail will be essential as you inspect attributes for workmanship, confirm documentation, and review certifications and process paperwork. With your experience in lot traceability, you will help ensure the integrity of our products and processes.
This role requires regular presence in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The incumbent must be able to access and safely navigate production areas which may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Must also be able to comply with all requirements including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policy.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 5 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using various tools and instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
- Inspect attributes for workmanship
- Confirm documentation and review certifications and process paperwork
- Ensure lot traceability and integrity of products and processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 2 years of related work experience or equivalent
- Experience in quality inspection and quality assurance in precision parts production
- Knowledgeable in quality assurance processes and set-ups
- Able to read manufacturing-related drawings
- Understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensioning (GD&T)
- Experienced using standard quality inspection hand tools
- Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision while collaborating in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating CMM machines
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $52,108 – $83,373. Individual salaries are determined by factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
