Quality Inspector
We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control efforts on a utility-scale solar construction project. This role requires close collaboration with field teams, project management, and subcontractors to ensure all electrical installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections of electrical installations, including DC/AC wiring systems, combiner boxes, inverters, and switchgear.
- Verify construction aligns with engineering drawings, project specifications, NEC, and applicable codes/standards.
- Support inspection and test plans (ITPs) and documentation processes.
- Conduct and document pre-installation inspections, in-process inspections, and final acceptance walkdowns.
- Track and report non-conformance issues (NCRs) and support resolution efforts.
- Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and turnover documentation.
- Collaborate with field superintendents, electrical foremen and crews, project managers, and engineers.
- Assist in coordinating with third-party inspectors and client representatives.
- Support commissioning readiness and punch list completion.

Work Environment
This position is located onsite at a green field solar farm. The role involves outdoor work within a construction environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
