Quality Inspector 1- 2ND SHIFT

About the role
Perform relative visual inspection of company product to verify conformance to order-specific paperwork using established sampling plans, color/fabric samples, and aesthetic requirements. Verify size and quantity of product presented for inspection for conformance to order. Minimal computer skills required. Use direct reading gauges to separate good and defective parts.
Responsibilities
- Visual and dimensional inspection of company product to drawing, production paperwork, and quality standards.
- Record data and enter reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Individually inspect each small part of negligible weight in each lot, following simple verbal instructions.
Knowledge of the following is a plus: use of handheld measuring instruments, reading blueprints, and welding operations.
Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime hours as needed to complete the job.
- Neat and detail-oriented.
- Previous inspection experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Frequently walk and stand continuously (5.5–8 daily hours).
- Occasionally bend, reach, grip, stoop, push/pull, and twist (0.25–2.5 daily hours).
- Lifting/carrying: low to moderate frequency, up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Stress level: moderate.
Pay
$16.00 - $18.00 hourly.
