About the role

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to join our team in Manchester, CT. This position operates from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections using precision measuring equipment and ensure proper operation of measurement devices.
  • Coordinate calibration programs and maintain records for inspection, testing, and verification tools and gauges.
  • Support Engineering and Operations in investigating, documenting, and resolving quality nonconformities.
  • Review customer orders and contracts to verify compliance with specifications, requirements, and obligations.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and product certifications, prepare laboratory test samples as required, and uphold a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of aviation industry experience preferred, with knowledge of aerospace quality standards and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection, and AMS 2750 standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to evaluate product conformity against established specifications.
  • Experienced in the use of precision inspection and measurement equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and surface plates.
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately, perform detailed inspection work, lift up to 40 pounds, and sit or stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
