Quality Inspection

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on parts and finished products to verify quality standards.
• Accept or reject products based on specifications, durability, and functionality.
• Develop, complete, and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Perform testing and inspections on new and existing products.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean measuring and testing equipment.
• Communicate quality concerns and inspection results with engineering, production, and management.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• One to three years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience using measuring and testing equipment is beneficial.
• Basic math skills, including fractions, ratios, and proportions, are necessary.
• A strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, vibration, and industrial materials.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and bump cap.
