What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop project plans and lead quality improvement activities and projects.
  • Aid teams, departments, and service lines in implementing strategies to improve the patient experience, reduce costs, and enhance patient clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to develop, implement, monitor, and champion processes improvement activities using the PDSA/AAAHC 10 step model.
  • Manage incident and complaint reporting, conducting investigations, identifying root causes, and creating action plans.
  • Assist with collecting data, monitoring, and supporting improvements in customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the research and development of policies and standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance.
  • Support AAAHC or other accreditation processes, including workbook and standards compliance, metric development, data collection, report creation, and measure monitoring related to quality, regulatory, and tribal requirements.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare or insurance quality improvement.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in quality improvement and/or project management.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, facilitation skills, and a strong team ethic.
  • Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for improvement opportunities, provide suggestions, and work with team members to remove barriers.
