About the role
Quality Final Inspector- Weatherization position available in Fayetteville, NC. This role requires 85% travel and involves providing superior customer service, conducting quality inspections, and assisting with project management.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service in all interactions.
- Ensure accuracy in final inspections.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse population, including customers, contractors, and grantor representatives.
- Conduct quality monitoring and inspections according to a schedule.
- Complete appropriate checklists and conduct post-inspections.
- Prepare and submit work orders and material information to contractors.
- Assist in educating customers about energy savings and related energy issues.
- Transfer data accurately into computer programs.
- Communicate significant issues identified during quality assurance activities to the affected peer and supervisor.
- Prepare reports of findings, concerns, and recommendations.
- Assist the Project Manager in responding to complaints.
- Conduct intake, investigate allegations, interview potential witnesses, and prepare a report on findings with recommendations.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a field related to green industries on housing.
- One to two years related experience in the field of energy or housing, or equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
- Computer skills to prepare spreadsheets and learn specific program software (AR4CA) within 30 days of hire.
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle.
- 40 hours of Weatherization training and successfully pass testing modules within 120 days of employment.
- Lead Renovator's Certification within 90 days of employment.
- OSHA 30 Hour Training Course for Construction Safety within 120 days of employment.
- First aid and CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- Fit Test for mask/respirator within 90 days of employment as required by OSHA.
- On-the-job training to accelerate ability to perform functions of the job.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision but also capable of working with a diverse group of people.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented, team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Capacity to complete projects on schedule and independently.
Qualifications

- Background check with state and Federal law enforcement agencies required.
