About the role
You will serve as Quality Excellence Lead within Roche’s Quality Excellence Infrastructure team, responsible for shaping and elevating the global Quality Infrastructure to deliver organizational efficiencies, scalability, and measurable productivity gains.
Responsibilities
- Drive, maintain, and continuously elevate Quality Infrastructure strategies across the organization.
- Manage critical Quality data to maintain full regulatory compliance while transforming raw metrics into strategic business insights.
- Champion the implementation, scaling, and ongoing enhancement of cutting-edge Quality tools, AI capabilities, and digital methodologies.
- Apply systems-thinking and collaborative governance to align cross-functional initiatives and accelerate quality outcomes globally.
- Provide end-to-end Quality System oversight, active monitoring, and governance frameworks across the organization.
- Implement and champion knowledge management practices across Pharma Development Quality to foster seamless learning and organizational growth.
- Partner with global cross-functional teams in an empowering, trusting, and purpose-driven culture dedicated to improving patient lives.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a scientific or quality-related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry and/or Quality Systems experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in quality systems management, ownership, and strategy within regulated health/pharma environments (e.g., GCP, GVP, MDR, SaMD, or RBQM).
- Hands-on experience utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), AI agents, and advanced data analytics tools to optimize quality processes and drive business solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in information governance, knowledge management, and maintaining standardized procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, risk-based mindset and a track record of data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build strong partner relationships, align cross-functional stakeholders, and champion change.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $111,000 to $206,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
