Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Ability to obtain INTERIM clearance prior to start date is also required.

About the Role

This position is for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM CT) and includes an 8% shift differential for the hours worked. Occasional overtime is offered, and willingness to participate in first shift for training requirements is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Performs receiving inspection activities and First Article Inspection support.
  • Prepares reports and maintains records as required.
  • Meets necessary certifications for quality assurance inspections.
  • Performs configuration verification of all levels of assemblies/hardware with minimal oversight.
  • Verifies all operations, including acceptance testing, have been completed and accepted.
  • Ensures all entries in the Factory Operating System are completed and closed correctly at all configuration levels.
  • Enforces compliance with Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
  • Conducts high-touch, in-person inspections critical for quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 10 years of experience, or Associate’s Degree and 8 years of QA inspection or manufacturing experience.
  • Previous experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance, including INTERIM clearance prior to start date.

Qualifications We Value

  • Experience performing inspections using assembly instructions and reading engineering drawings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering drawings (reading and interpreting).
  • Proficiency in torque and assembly methods/processes.
  • Customer selloff experience; ability to foster excellent working relationships with internal/external stakeholders (e.g., DCMA).
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or PRISM.
  • Solid understanding of Quality and Engineering Principles; capable of communicating criteria/issues to all levels of factory personnel.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $114,000 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
