Quality Engineering Manager Senior

About the Role
As a Quality Engineering Manager Senior within PNC's Technology organization, you will oversee test plan execution, ensuring alignment with project and program goals while resolving blockers and risks impacting timelines. You will validate that data aligns with the overall test strategy, including System and Business End-to-End testing, and provide support to Quality Engineers and Managers for test data creation, acquisition, and provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Review post-production validation plans and collaborate with business partners to evaluate outcomes, ensuring results are strategically integrated into future test plans.
- Review all planned changes to confirm testing meets test strategy requirements and that team leaders have completed all required documentation.
- Identify and develop mitigations, trends, and process improvements, communicating them to the Quality Engineer Director.
- Manage Quality Engineer staffing needs and provide strategic input on resource requirements during annual planning to ensure organizational alignment.
- Foster professional development and skills enhancement for all direct reports, including engineers and managers.

Requirements
- Typically requires a university/college degree; higher-level education such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
- Industry experience of 8+ years, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay
Base Salary: $135,520.00 – $251,680.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
