Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in a production environment.
- Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals.
- Integrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality best practices and communication of quality issues.
- Facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective action.
- Perform reviews and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.
- Perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100, recommend initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system quality.
- Provide quality assurance subject matter expertise to inspection, manufacturing and test.
- Periodically interface with internal and external customers on quality related concerns and develop training materials to build quality awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science or American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification
- 10+ years’ industry experience in the engineering field with at least 8 years in a quality engineer role
- Quality assurance experience in production environment
- Aerospace, space launch, military/commercial aviation preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $113,925-$167,090
Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $123,900-$181,720
Compensation range for on site CA applicants is $123,900-$181,720
