About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our procurement department based in Grand Prairie, TX (Dallas). The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and supplying to the overall competitiveness of the company.

Your Challenges

You will be the focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and an ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions

You need to be able to manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for on-time, on-quality (and on-cost, when applicable) performance

Assessing the supplier capacity, capability, and performance; and contributing to the suppliers’ development is a key element

We also need someone who has a comprehensive understanding of working with customer (internal/external) demands being manifested in various forms of communication (Service Letter Agreement, meetings, conference call, e-mails) and utilizing these through the CI process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field, preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in the field of Quality, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis E.g. Practical Problem Solving or similar 8D type tools
  • AS9100 Auditor or equivalent training
  • Team working mindset
  • Authorized to Work in the US
