What You'll Do

  • Lead the use of Process Improvement tools and methods (e.g., 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses and process deviations within the Distribution Center.
  • Manage execution of top Quality loss projects, including deviation submissions to One Best Way playbooks and input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams for replication opportunities.
  • Support the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program, including development of Quality loss profiles, gap analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creation of standard work to reduce process variation.
  • Partner with Department and Area Managers to support WPS projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvement initiatives.
  • Cook up job-related activities by aligning stakeholders, communicating goals, tracking progress, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings
  • Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and implementing a Quality Management System
  • Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc
  • Quality Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment
