Quality Engineer – SAP Commerce Cloud / WalkMe (570)

Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support testing efforts across enterprise applications, with a primary focus on SAP Commerce Cloud. The candidate will also likely work on WalkMe and may contribute to HCM-related testing, although HCM is not a primary requirement for this role.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, test design, defect management, and functional validation, along with hands-on experience in functional test automation using Playwright with Java. This individual should be comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality releases across web-based enterprise platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
• Proven hands-on experience testing SAP Commerce Cloud
• Strong experience validating commerce-specific workflows, including:
  • Catalog
  • Search
  • Cart
  • Checkout
  • Pricing
  • Promotions
  • Order flows
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, including test planning, test design, test execution, regression testing, defect management, and end-to-end functional validation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Java for functional UI automation
• Experience testing web-based applications in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into structured, traceable test scenarios and test cases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a contractor role
