About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Remote Engineer specializing in Quality Assurance and Validation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will contribute to product quality by designing, automating, and executing validation strategies across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves supporting end-to-end validation processes across various environments, including production, to ensure reliable and scalable software releases. The engineer will work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, analyze defects, and drive continuous quality improvements. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technology field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance for IT solutions
- Proven experience in delivering quality engineering activities within SDLC frameworks, including test automation and CI/CD integration
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of quality engineering practices such as automation, integration testing, and defect lifecycle management
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with healthcare systems such as Epic is a plus
- Working knowledge of web services, APIs, relational databases, and continuous testing tools like GitLab
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or iterative development models
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of quality engineering strategies across various testing phases
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze defects and test results to identify root causes, driving continuous quality improvements
- Support ongoing validation efforts by integrating automated testing within development workflows
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with business and technical requirements, supporting early validation during development cycles
- Coordinate test execution, manage defect lifecycle, and generate quality reports across different environments
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, data, and automation scripts across functional and integration layers
- Document and manage defects to facilitate efficient resolution
- Identify and communicate potential risks related to quality, performance, and deployment readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing strategies and ensure high-quality software releases
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the quality assurance process
